The long-awaited exhibition of the Slovak Design Awards 2023 is taking place in Pradiareň 1900 from September 27 till November 3. Visitors can explore a showcase of the best of Slovak design from the past 2 years. A total of 67 pieces of product design will be presented, including 25 nominations selected by a seven-member international jury at the beginning of July.
The charity auction salon combines art and charity. Thanks to a nice idea and targeted help, the artists donate artworks to charity. The pre-auction exhibition of works will take place in the Pradiareň 1900 from 14 to 21 November. Proceeds from the auction are used as financial assistance for people with physical disabilities.
The second round of the art-architecture competition is underway, with the aim of enriching the square in front of Pradiareň 1900 and the Zwirn zone with a valuable work of art. Which sculpture will complement the entire space as a suitable city-forming element and increase the awareness and value of the entire zone will be revealed at the turn of April and May next year.

At the beginning of September, the international multi-genre festival Symphony of Arts took place for the second time in Pradiareň 1900’s courtyard. A number of concerts of various styles were put on, as well as high-quality art from art studios and theaters.
The famous Slovak fashion designer Marcel Holubec also chose the Pradiareň’s beautiful premises to present his collection. He presented his new pieces in a comprehensive show under the name “Concréte”.
Green Building Week is a series of events organized by Green Building Councils around the world and is led by the World Green Building Council (WGBC). Held annually since 2009, Green Building Week falls on the third week of September. The aim of this initiative is to support sustainable construction in various countries.
